A playful Shiba Inu piece for Shiba Inu lovers. With a traditional Japanese pattern background, the piece will bring a whimsical oriental touch to your wall. It's a fun piece that celebrates Shiba Inu's origin!
The Clay Dye Art Background
After many trials and errors, I finally found a great eco-friendly medium that is perfectly compatible with my original hand-torn collage art pieces. It uses traditional Japanese clay dyes that are made for coloring fabrics. It is called Bengara and is manufactured by a small company in Japan. With their dye thickener, the company advised me that I could use the dyes as paint. I created stencils of traditional Japanese patterns by hand, and generated different styles for the backgrounds using these dyes. Finally I matched the backgrounds with some of my original hand-torn collage art pieces, using Photoshop, and then this new mixed media art collection was born.
